C’est  Au London College of Printmaking, qu’Agnes Tourrenc découvre la sérigraphie. La ville l’inspire et ses premiers sujets sérigraphiés sont des lieux qu’elle croise dans son quotidien : immeubles, gares...

Poursuivant ses recherches sur la ville- Agnes Tourrenc immortalise sur pellicule la mémoire de lieux en transformation. Elle retravaille ensuite ces photographies, les adapte et les sérigraphie.

De cette approche photosensible naissent des images fortes, aux contours nets et tranchés, qui s’imposent au regard sans détour et fondent toute l’originalité des créations Auberginette.

Des images décontextualisées, suspendues, qui se déploient sur des objets de décoration et des articles pour la maison à la manière d’un grand imagier moderne.

Agnes Tourrenc moves to London to study «Graphic design». She specializes in screen-printing at the  College of Printmaking Techniques. The city inspires her. Her first subjects are places she crosses everyday : buildings, stations…

She pursues her researches on the city , and photographs spaces/places in transformation. From these photosensitive works strong images appear. It’s this specific style that makes Auberginette’s creations authentic.
